We are all at home now! no work today because its Malaysia's election day and those ministers are coming over to penang i think.. so they declare today as a public holiday. This means that i'm able to sleep until 12pm. Exactly like the weekends.

Last weekend was really fun. We get to travel out ourselves for the first time without any supervisors around us!

For saturday, we went out with alastair's friend, Eldric who came down to penang to visit him and since he can drive and has a car, the guys went out together in the evening. Went to super tanker (tank it!) for dinner first then we bought food back for the girls. After that its guy's night out. Went to eldric's place first cuz alastair said it was totally awesome so we mus go check it out. It was located at gurney drive.. the name of the condo is Gurney palace.. and its beside Michelle yeoh's condo, the one that she owned. The car park itself is already filled with luxury sports cars! Mercedes bmw audi etc etc. Damn nice. His house is on the 29th floor, a penthouse. I really like how the way operate.. One must use a card to access to the 29th floor.. which means the whole corridor is literally theirs. Maybe all condos are like that.. i dont know, never experience one like this before :(

I think its the biggest and most beautiful house that i ever been to. Too bad dont have a picture of the main door. Its very big. Like those Ballroom door that kind. The kitchen is damn nice also! but i guess the main attraction is the movie theatre room ( the bottom left picture ). The sound system is damn bloody good. The bass can cause the whole room to vibrate. The couch is damn comfortable too. Its like everyone's dream room! The view from the balcony is also damn nice. Alastair said that the coral reefs can be seen in the day. That's how beautiful the seaview is from the balcony. I will gladly sleep at the balcony if im asked too. Don't have to worry about mosquito because i bet they cant fly so high up lol.

So after exploring the house, we went down to a cafe called "martini cafe". The place is nice but its suprisingly souless when we went in. We went there at around 9pm.. maybe its still early for those late night party goers to appear.



The drinks were alright. Not that costly compared to singapore. The potato wedges is seriously cheap and nice though. $4.50rm for 1 plate! Played some dice games there and we went back to the house at around 10. Eldric went to fetch his parents back home and then we all watched the movie "secretary" at the movie room. The movie was alright.. quite a weird yet unique storyline.

Ate some ice kachang and and chendol after the movie and the his dad drove us back home. Memorable guys night out!


On sunday, we went to queensbay mall to walk walk. Took a bus there! had to do some research on which bus to take beforehand. The journey was around 10 mins.. 4 stops only! and its 1 dollar per trip! Went to the food court fer lunch first and then alastair and yh went to a salon for a haircut



So i went to topman to check out some tees. Saw a nice polo tee but i think it costs around the same price as the ones in Sg. No sale somemore :( so left there emptyhanded.

Went to catch Walle in the evening. The show onfirmed that I'm not a cartoon lover because i fell asleep at the start for around 15mins. Don't quite understand the show lol but didnt bother too. The characters were cute though especially eve.

Oh and they are screening Money not enough 2 on the 28th of august. Maybe will go and catch it again.

For dinner, we wanted to try the pasta at pizza hut but after when we decided on the menu, they told us that their oven broke down.. so no baked rice and pasta lol WTF!

So we went to kenny rogers instead. Its been a long long time since i last ate there. I only remember having dinner there with ly and gang when we were sec 2 or 3? The muffin is stil the best! Ordered the quarter chicken meal and it wasnt that filling. The side dishes were nice.. especially the potato salad.

Managed to catch the last bus back home!

and thats how the weekends was spent

Work yesterday was alright. Dont have anything interesting to write about it.

The girl on the extreme is joyce.. our house mate and colleague. Shes a really nice girl.. willing to drive us to work everyday, bring us to the laundry and for lunch and dinner, crapping with us in the car and tolerating our laughters and madness every night.

its 1250am now! getting late.. but all 6 of us is still awake. Normally the 2 girls will be in dreamland at this time and maybe alastair too. Raymond , yong han and me is always the few who sleeps late.

Dont have much things to do now so i decided to update a little.

Today is probably the slackiest day of my attachment because i chose to be lazy :(. Didnt really do much work.. spent most of the time IRC-ing and disturbing people. Yeap its mIRC. Really damn funny to see those despo guys in there trying to hook up wif some girl. All of this is able to keep me occupied for almost the whole day lol. But i shall not continue to laze around from tmr onwards. I try!

Left the office early today so that we can go visit the laundry.. but sadly they weren't open today. Need to wait till saturday.. which means i need to reuse some of my berms :( cuz i dun really like to wear jeans to work.

Went to gurney drive for dinner. Very nice and cheap food there. The place is something like our lau pat sat, just that the price and taste of the food is totally different. Went to gurney plaza to walk a little after dinner and then got back home at around 1030pm

Friday tmr and then the long awaited weekends. Dont have any plans for the weekends this time round. We'll see what can we do tmr!

im in penang office now :( sigh back to work work

The 2 days stay in Singapore was good though it can be better if its not for some delaying at the singapore custom. The whole journey back was around 12 hours. Left in the morning, reached at night and thus couldnt meet up with people after that cuz its late already. But the feeling of being back home is still the best! because i get to gallivant around without having to be afraid of losing my way. In Penang, we can only travel away from our house with our supervisors because we don't know the place well :( .

Saturday night was spent talking to my family and unpacking some stuff.

Woke up at around 12pm the next day. Watched the olympics replay on tv. Im sure alot of people will know about the 2 particular events that made the headline. Michael phelps's fingernail touch of victory and usain bolt's crazy speed. Insane bolt would sound better!

Its been a long time since i get to watch the TV so i sat and enjoy the shows for around 2 hours. Went to 201 to have a hair cut afterwards. Waited for around 20mins for my turn! damn long but nvm at least its cheap and the standard is still can make it. Met eric at TM to catch Money not enough 2 in the evening. Caught the 455 show instead of the 410 because the tix are all sold out for the latter.

The show was really meaningful and funny! just like what i expected from a jack neo's film. So to those who haven't watch it, you shld do so this weekend or smth!

Watch some tv when i got home. The table tennis girls team finals! A pity that singapore lost but at least they managed to reach their target and also to create history. Bloody china so pro :@

Watched the first match of the BPL. Man u vs newcastle. Ended up in a stalemate. :( but nvm thats what happened to man u last season.. and they still won the double he he

Reached golden mile at around 820am yesterday to catch a ride back to penang. Eric and the rest was over there to see me off again. Thanks alot guys. The bus left at 9am and had to bid farewell to my family and friends once again :(. But i will be back again in 1 months time! This time round, the coach is better than the previous one that we took back to Singapore. The whole coach is practically ours. Theres only 1 lady and the 6 of us in it so its free more or less free seating. The sound system of the mini tv is way better than the previous coach. They provide us with headphones this time! whereas the speakers is attached to the head of the chair in the previous coach and the sound is scarcely audible.

Watched 3 movies during the whole 11 hours journey. namely Just follow law, Secret and Die hard 4. Didnt really sleep much compared to the journey back but still enough to keep me awake when we reached penang

Thats about it! Time to start work now.

Its 1020am now and im in the office, drinking milo. Just had breakfast which one of our staff and housemate, Joyce bought for us. Thank you. Normally i dont really start work until around 11am because the mood just isnt right before that.. actually its procrastinating

On my com, surf the web, check email, read some news, eat my breakfast in the pantry and chat with the rest.. thats why i do when i reach the office.

Couldnt get myself to sit down and type a new entry fer the past few days because im feeling damn lazy to do so. I also reluctantly did my eSIP yesterday and the day before. Maybe because when i reach home after work, i just want to sit down relax and enjoy the remaining few hours before bedtime. Play games, guitar and crap around with friends.. sadly, blogging just isnt one of them.

As for work, im being assigned to create a website for an ERP system. Did research on some flash banners tutorial and also search for some templates to steal /gg. They encourage copyright here so its all good! In the midst of doing so, i found out some new stuff called Flash components. Its something like those components in flex and its really nice! Ask me about it if you want to know more.

Our house has wireless internet access now! So i wont have to look forward to going to the office every day just to quickly on my com and surf the net.

Andd lastly! we are going back to singapore tmr! Our coach is at 930, so will reach singapore at arond 7pm :( No idea what to do throughout the whole journey. Planning to watch Money not enough 2 tmr night! but we will be in singapore until monday only :( Need to take a coach back on monday morning :@:@

All in all, life over here is pretty good! Amount of mosquitos decreased drastically. Comfortable sleeps and playing dota with the guys against bots at night is where all the laughters came from

Shall blog abit before i start to do some work

Yh and me had been transfered to penang to work on monday.. so we are in the penang office now! yes its an office.. no more living room office haha and theres jiayi, munyee,raymond and alastair over here too so its fun and enjoying to work here.

Yh and me was assigned to create a website for a company thats dealing with some glass products and our dateline is on friday. Very little programming done here.. its mainly on design and also doing things that we already learnt in school so its less frustrating!

Our house is like those typical 3 room flats in Singapore. Although the facade looks old and creepy, the interior suggested otherwise. Its alot cleaner than our house in Selangor and the toilet is big! Though there isnt any air cons in the house, the fans is suffice to have a comfortable sleep. However, the downside of living here is that there is no internet access at home :( hence the reason why i'm not online in the night. But we are still able to survive with some movies at night and some card games etc. No tv here too haha so we had to use our laptops for movies. Im seriously deprived of tv shows now!

Theres also a giant opposite our house and the best thing is that we are longer located on a hill top!

happy 20years of living to me! Thanks to all for your wishes. Really appreciate it

I guess my birthday this time round is quite a memorable one because firstly i'm not in Singapore and secondly, i "celebrated" it with my laptop :( but im not complaining. Cant expect the boss to give me a day off because its my birthday right haha

Anyway my parents will be visiting me next saturday and we will then go out to celebrate my birthday. I miss my family alot. Talked via msn almost everynight when my parents. thank god for such technology.

One of the in charge in penang came down to our place. He had a chat with us, asking whether we want to go over to penang to work together with jiayi and the rest. Sounds good at first but after giving it a few thoughts, we decided not too because for me, the main reason is that my parents are coming over in 2 weeks time and i dont want them to travel all the way to penang to find me. The journey is way too long on wheels. Moreover, life over here isn't that bad too. The people here are friendly and the environment is quite pleasant. Though the work here can be quite tough, we still relish the challenge.

But hopefully they deprecate our visa so we can go back to Singapore on 22nd august!

We went to KL for some shopping today. We reached there at around 1130. Traffic was damn congested but kinda expected it because its Sunday. Went to a shopping mall called Pavalion which is somewhat similar to our Paragon. They have all the branded stuffs there like Gucci, dkny, ralph lauren etc etc and they had topman and zara too! <3. We went to crystal jade for lunch first. Ate the tim sum there. The crystal jade here is way cheaper than that in Singapore haha.

After that we walked to some IT mall which is similar to Sim lim square. Cant remember the name of the place. Didnt buy anything from there.. wanted to buy some pc games but the price is around the same as Singapore which is expensive so i left there empty handed. Yh bought a laptop fan though.

Went to a shopping mall called Sungei wang after that which is similar to our far east plaza. Didnt buy anything there too except for some famous amos cookies. Yh bought a beanie there lol.

And finally we went back to pavilion to shop! Went to espirit first but got nothing much and then next is topman! Was quite disappointed at the aparals they have apparels they have there but still i saw this nice casual check shirt. Bought it after i tried. Cost around 62bucks SGD which is around 10bucks lesser than the topman in Singapore. Wanted to buy some others but the rest weren't that appealing. Went to Zara next but couldnt find anything nice so i left the place with only 1 shirt. We didnt even bother to step into the rest of the shops because we wont be able to afford them lol.

We saw a lady playing piano inside the shopping mall. Think its some performance but wat caught my eyes was that the piano was white in colour lol. I guess pq will be over the moon when she sees it. Don worry, i will post pictures for u!

Theres this interesting scene in the entrance of the shopping mall where a group of models were helping to advertise various products. They remain stationery in the same pose for around 10 mins or so and as expected, alot of people went to snap a shot of them. Quite a weird yet unique way to advertise products lol. One of the models was also quite cute looking! Quite surprised when i saw her because this place/country seems to be devoid of pretty/cute looking girls haha. But cant really see her whole face because the shades she wore was covering half a face! Wanted to take a picture with her but they were preparing to go off when we got there :(

We went back to our town for dinner. Ate some tomyam noodles. DAMN SPICY

finally, the long awaited weekends have arrived. Today was pretty well spent. Yh's parents drove all the way here from singapore to look for him. So i spent the day going out with them. We woke up at around 1130 today. Had a damn good and nice sleep last night.. knowing that u can sleep for as long as u wan.. the feeling is great. woke up and played some games then our manager drove us out for lunch. On the way out, we saw yh's parents car so we turned back and followed them as they drove in to our house. Our manager went back to the house and the 4 of us went for lunch. Ate at some restaurant near giant. The tomyam seafood soup there is nice! the rest was equally good too. Went inside giant to do some grocery shopping. Can obviously tell that yh parents cared for him alot lol. Went back to the house after that to bath and rest. Met up with his parents again in the evening and we went to a shopping mall called IOI mall. Our first official visit to a shopping mall ! but the visit was a pretty disappointing one. Nothing interesting to look at. They had a cinema there.. shall go catch a movie some time. Too bad they don't have money not enough 2 :( bet they hate singapore film's.

The only fun thing we did was playing daytona at the arcade lol. Met up with his parents after that and headed to A&W for dinner. Guess the one we went to on tuesday wasnt the only outlet. The float is damn shiok. Didnt ate the coney dog this time round. Had the chicken instead.

Went back home after dinner and here we are using our laptops in the room. Yh is playing his dota now.

Oh and another reason why today was a fruitful day is that we did housework! or rather roomwork because we cleaned our room only lol. He vacuum the room while i mop the floor and did a little toilet cleaning. Feels damn clean now! Shall make it a habit to clean the room once a week.

We also washed our clothes using the washing machine just now. Its my first time in my entire life! believe it or not. Bet alot of u also nver wash ur own clothes wan right haha

Tmr we will be going down to KL for shop and shop. Hopefully theres smth nice there to buy! i will try my best to get gifts for my frends and family

No more screw ups this time round :( haha anyway, we arrived safely! Many thanks to the guys for their sms-es and wishes. A thousand thanks to eric weicong and daryl for coming down to see me off. Really appreciate it! And not forgeting my mum dady grandma and grandpa. Its really very difficult to part with u all :(

The journey to kl airport was around 40mins long. Looked out of the window most of the time because the view from above is simply beautiful. Snapped many shots of the clouds and sky even though we are not allowed to turn on our mobile phones. Reached the airport, took our luggage and then took the train to kl sentral to meet the person whos in charge of us. Found out that he's at the airport waiting for us instead so he had to drive down to kl sentral to meet us.

He drove us to A&w for lunch. yes a&w! cant find any now in Singapore and we were told that theres only 1 left in malaysia lol. I wonder why such nice fast food restaurant are disappearing :(
Went to our office after that. Found out that our office is our home which is a terrace house located on a hill top lol. Yeap, we are doing work at home. Wasnt expecting such nice accomodation. Guess we were lucky. However, to our horror, the place was very empty. They don't even have a tv :( and we don't have a wardrope to put our clothes lol. But i guess this place is more of an office than a home.. hence the lack of such furnitures and appliances.

There are 2 workers living there too.. so plus our supervisor and us, its 5 in the house. The 3 of them have their rooms on upstairs while yh and me shared a room downstairs. A room with 2 bed of course. Supervisor showed us some of their projects then we went back to our room and unpack our stuffs. We found out that the room and toilet doesnt have alot of things like mirror and cabinet as i mentioned :( and the toilet doesnt have a heater so we have to bath in cold water everyday! gg

Went for dinner together at some cofeeshop nearby. Had yong tau fu. Cheap and nice! though the place looks old and dirty. Went to giant to buy things. Didnt finish buying what we wanted because the 3 of them were already waiting for us when we are halfway thru so we have to come back another day.

Headed back to the house after that. We had the chance to see the beautiful scenary of KL on the hilltop. The clouds were beautiful too.

But i couldnt xfer all the pictures to my laptop because my phone battery died! and i forgot to bring an extention socket for my charger! soooo i got no idea what to do now. Maybe i will go back the socket soon. Meanwhile i will be using yh's phone. Luckily he brought two

Yh is beside me now talking to his frend and studying ASP. I'm going to do the same after i finsih writing this. Need to read up on that programming language because we've got no clue how it works. Luckily the 3 workers are helpful and patient. Hope they wont get pissed at our stupidity

And this place is full of mozzies! i just killed 3 and my leg is itching like hell :@ I seriously need to get some insect repellent. And yh just killed a cockroach in the toilet. lol omg please dun surprise us with any more insects!

its 18th july now which is also my brother's and ernest's birthday! happy birthday bro and friend!

Relax relax relax. Yeap thats what i'm feeling now. Not much work to do so far thats why im feeling relax. Also, i'm doing those projects with yh so its really slack and fun when we do work together because we both have the same attitude towards work haha. No pressure watsoever.. thats the most important thing

Sigh nothing much happened recently except for that tiff we had with those malay guys in the same lab as us lol. shall not talk about it

I'm talking to mr eric now on msn. Can sense that he isn't the same as before because of what happened to his mum recently. I can understand what he's going through now and i'm rather worried about that matter too. Even though i don't know his mum well, but still i'm rather melodramtic when this kind of stuff happens, especially to someone whom i know. Somehow it felt as if i'm experiencing it. We will be around if u need us mate.

On a lighter note................. i cant think of anything nice to talk about :(


i cant wait to take up driving lessons! dammit i seriously regret not learning it straight away when i turned 18 :@ oh well.. now i can only drive my "skyline/r8" in nfs carbon haha but the kicks is still there

time to update a little!

lots of stuff happened recently and i guess most of u all already know... our osip trip was canceled due to some admin problems over at the agency there.. our visa wasnt approved so we couldnt leave which means im still in SINGAPORE! I guess its a good thing because i suddenly cant bear to leave haha. Shall not elaborate on wat exactly happened but overall its seriously stupid and ludicrous.

So fer the past 1 week or so, Yh and me were assigned to do a project by ms cherry. Some php stuff which wasn't that bad because we experienced WAD before so at least we have something to refer too. We started working on it since last wednesday and managed to finish around 90% of it up till now. Showed teacher wat we did and she said it was good and beyond her expectations. That seriously made my day. Who say slackers cant produce good work!

Things are going quite smoothly now. Everything is quite flexible in a sense that we don't have to go to school to do work but still we decided to meet everyday at 11 in school. Never once were we on time though haha. Stayed in school till around 7+, when shellen they all decided to go off. Reached home, bath , eat and tv at 9pm then face the computer till around 2 and then its bed time. Thats my routine for now.

And lastly, ms cherry told us that we might be leaving next week. They are stil settling those admin stuff but we were told that we will be going there fer 1 month and if they still couldnt get the visa fer us, then we will be coming back after 1 month then maybe stay in Singapore fer a few days then go back there again. I prefer this option because we won't have to bring so many stuff there and of course we are only seperated from our kin and frends for 1 month only. Obviously our school is rich enough to suggest such an alternative choice.

So im still gonna celebrate my 20th bday over there :(

the feeling of seperation is too overwhelming :( but i will try to deal with it.

Had lunch with my family today at katong. Its been a very very long time since we all sat and ate together. Sister wasnt there though cuz she has to work. If i didnt recall wrongly, the last time we shared 1 table was during cny reunion dinner. Anyway, it was really nice. Able to sit together and talk about any stuff. Regret not spending more time with my family :( .. have to wait till 3and a half months later before im able to do that again.

Dad dropped my brother and me off at marina square. He went his own way and i went to find wei cong. Bought a shirt at topman.. $83 bucks :( but mum says she's buying it for me as my bday present. thanks alot mum!

Met up with the rest and bought tix fer the show "wanted". Don't really like the show lol.. exciting at some parts but overall quite boring and dull.

Dinner at nyny. First time eating there. ordered meat platter. Not too bad, but the price for most items is damn ex and the portion is damn sad :( like our drinks :(. Overall, i spent around 30bucks there. $_$

Went back home after that. Took train back with eric cong and long while the rest took the bus. Wont be seeing them until october 18! i swear i will miss u guys.

Reached home and continued packing. Hope i wont miss out anything!

Thats about it.. prolly gonna turn in soon. Need to wake up at 630 tmr.

its getting closer! yes the day when im going to leave here for my attachment :(. Im starting to feel sad but a little happy at the same time. Sad because i will miss my family and friends and those outings with the usuals :( Slightly happy because i'm going to be independent over there and thats something i'm looking forward too. Besides i'm going there with a rather close friend of mine so its all good. Hopefully the chores won't be a conundrum for us.

i've yet to pack or prepare what to bring there. We don't even know the exact date that we are leaving :@ was told that we are leaving around 7july but still... not confirm at all. even the flight details etc. 1 more week left!

Napfa approaching too. Next friday. Seriously hope to get at least a silver. Hope the months of working out and exercising pay off :(

Anyway, today was a pretty fun day. Went to ernest's house gym at around 11. Swimming after that then ate lunch. Played lan at grandlink till evening. Bubble tea ftw! Hopefully we get to go out again on sunday before i leave. Please dont make us leave any earlier than 7th july.

Im gonna miss alot of things during my 3 and a half months stay there! iknow i keep repeating this but its true. Im going miss

hi all! i guess its time to update a little to resuscitate this blog. The reason for the almost 1 week hiatus was that i'm too busy with stuff.. namely late night gaming and work. Yeap work! I worked during the PC show last week. 4 days! Thanks to wenqing and woonchao for the lobang. Its been a long long time since my last job and also this is my first time doing sales so its quite challenging but i still relish it. Maybe cause my mood was pretty good.

Anyways, we were selling some laptop bags. Got bag packs, roller bags, sling bags etcetc. Lots of different types. At first glance, i thought no one would buy that type of bags because they look so old fashion and hideous lol but obviously i was wrong. We made a total of 27k for the whole show and there was team commission too! so our pay was quite alot. basic + personal commission + team commission. swee

Went to get our pay today at simlim. Met the usual people at raffles place mrt after that and headed to lau pat sat for dinner. Mass you tiao rojak! damn nice. Walked aimlessly around that area.. Finally settled down at central mall. slack awhile and took the train back home

School starting on monday. sigh still need to do presentation for trif on tuesday. Going to school on monday to discuss and prepare for it. Actually next week can still be considered as our term break cuz besides the presentation, we dun have any lessons. soooo im gonna make full use of it before i leave for my sip. Napfa in 2 weeks time too!

Its the first week of the term break now. Things are going fine at the moment.. nothing interesting though. Shall do a quick round up of the things that happened fer the past few days.

Went to eat Sakura at Safra with the usuals on saturday. Wanted to go swim in the noon first but when we reached there, we found out that on weekends, the pool is only open for members :( so we slacked at the bowling alley and played a few rounds of pool. Dinner wasn't too bad.. but its quite expensive. 27bucks per person. The icecream is nice lol though i didnt eat much of it caused I couldnt take in anymore when its dessert time. However the rest ate a few rounds of icecream lol. It was a fun day overall.. Will surely miss such outings in the future when i go for my attachment

Sunday was exercise day. Wanted to run at bedok resevoir but it was drizzling in the morning when we reached there so we quickly and readily agreed on going to ernest house's gym instead. Why? caused most of us dread running at the reservoir lol so we will try our best to find an excuse for us not to run :( Went swimming after an hour of gym.. but did'nt swim for long cause the water is freezing cold. Went to city plaza for lunch and played a few hours of lan at grandlink

Went to collect my new passport on monday. Had to wake up at 8am cuz my parents are driving me there. Had to wait for around 30mins for my turn. Went back to school after that. Met yh and we submitted some forms for the OSIP thing. Met eric and chao fer early lunch then headed to eric's house and slack the whole afternoon there. Dinner at century square before we went our own ways

Went swimming with eric cong and chao today at tampines sports complex. Nice weather to swim and the pool wasn't that crowded so its all good. Swam for around 2 hours.. then subway for dinner. Celebrated my mum's birthday just now at 10pm. Happy birthday mum!

Going to run tmr at bedok stadium.

Sigh the osip thing is really really troublesome. Need to buy insurance, need to apply for ns exit permit. Need to show them prove of me going for attachment before they approve the exit permit. WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

3 more days to term break. Gonna enjoy as much as i can before i leave for my osip. I will definitely miss everything here... maybe not the weather. 4 months! thats very long.. i wonder if i can bring my guitar there :(

Lesson at 12 tmr. but going to sir building to renew my passport in the morning. Probably will be late for lesson but no choice, need to submit the required documents to ms cherry. Damn rush.. i still plan to go renew my passport during term break lol

time to update a little before i go to bed.

yesterday was the highlight of the week i guess. A visit to pulau ubin with my sec sch mates! the usual gang plus a few more. I decided to post pictures for this instead of typing a wall of text so i'm going to just roughly talk bout yesterday.

Its been around 5 years since i last went there. The changi jetty already changed alot, let alone the island itself. Rent a bicycle straight away when we reached there and started cycling aimlessly with wenqing leading. The weather was torrid and we had to stop fer a few times to rest and drink some water. Didnt manage to cycle the whole of the island because daryl had muscle cramps halfway through:(. Had late lunch over there. The cereal prawns is nice but the rest were just mediocre. Price still reasonable. Took the boat back in the evening and we all went our seperate ways after that. All in all, an enjoyable and memorable day for sure!

Weekends was pretty well spent. Ernest had a 2d 1n voucher at furama hotel so we went tthere on saturday. Been quite a well since i last stayed at a hotel. I guess the major difference between a hotel and most chalets is the cleanliness lol. Most hotels have bathtub too. Tried to make foam bath but failed miserably. Didnt really make use of the hotel's facility. Spent most of the time inside playing laptops and eating snacks. Had dinner at great world city. The food in the hotel costs a bomb

Yesterday was grandpa birthday. Relatives came to my house. Dinner was nice. Happy birthday grandpa!

Went out wif eric to tm for dinner. Ate the westernfood at the food court. The chicken chop is damn nice.

School tmr..:( 3 hours of lectures only though but guess i'm going.

Its 1am now.. still very early to me if its during holidays but not anymore now. I guess my lifestyle is pretty healthy now. Exercising and working out has kind of become a routine for me fer the past few weeks and its quite enjoyable. Moreover, even if i'm having lesson in the noon the next day, i would'nt stay up till 2+ or 3+ anymore unless theres soccer..if not the latest would be 130 for me i guess. An average of 10 hours of slp everyday is healthy right? i think so! because i realised that the pimples on my forehead has disappeared but theres one big red dot on my nose :( but im sure it will disappear sooner or later. Healthy lifestyle!

This coming sunday is mother's day.. and im still deciding on what to get fer my mum! No idea what she needs :(

School life has been pretty mundane.. nothing interesting. Go school and show face for 3 hours then go back home. This cycle caused me to save an average of 6bucks per day! $$ cuz i seldom/rarely have lunch at school unless wz or someone else asked me to. Other than that, i only spend around 2 bucks on snacks during short breaks. So im feeling a little little rich now $$$. Talking about school, i've sent my application for the OSIP program a few days back, together with yh..though with little hope of getting in because of our results lol. Getting the forms and documents prepared was really a conundrum! Had to meet at 8 to print and scan those forms and certs etc... and u can never rely on school's property. :@

TRIF lesson tmr has been canceled to allow us to go and do research and conduct some survey fer our assignment 2.. but i don't think i will be going out to do all those tmr.. Most prolly gonna stay at home until evening then go jog with the guys.

End of another week! and its week 3 tmr

I guess this whole week had been pretty much well spent apart from lessons in school. Monday, Wednesday and Friday were spent jogging and working out with yonghan and weicong and gang. Wednesday though was only me alone running and doing some workout in the evening. I can feel the increase in stamina /gg

Today was a blast. Went bedok reservoir to run with the usual gang in the morning at 10+. It was really really exhausting. Had to run 4.8km with the scorching sun shining directly at us. I can literally feel my skin burning. Waited for everyone to run finish , then we headed to mac at tampines for a drink. Went swimming after that at the tamp sports complex. Felt so damn refreshing when we jumped into the pool. Swam a few laps then spent the rest of the time chatting. Stayed there for about 2hours + then wennt off to changi village for dinner. Nasi lemak!

Wei cong drove us back after that.

Tiring but it was really fun. I guess this is going to be a routine for us every weekend.. not sure about bedok reservoir :( its really hell but swimming is a must!

Gonna go have an early rest i guess. Lesson at 9 tmr. Still need to settle the OSIP thing. If only i have a printer and scanner at home :@

Went out with my secondary school mates on saturday.. A bigger group this time compared to the usual swimming / steamboat group. Watched harold and kumar at marina square.. Quite a funny and lame show. Its M18 so u should know wat kind of scenes there are. Had dinner at suntec food court cuz all of us wanted something cheap. Parkway pool after that. Played awhile then went down to fish and co to watch soccer but sadly their tv is not showing that. Went to some coffeeshop after that.. And i'm never going to watch soccer at a coffeeshop again.. noisy adults down there talking.. sigh so we went to ernest house to catch the 2nd half.. sigh again.. don't wanna talk about the match.. one of the most miserable journey back home for me :(

Went swimming with eric weicong woonchao and lih long yesterday morning at tampines swimming complex... not jurong. First time using the pool there. So bloody crowded. can hardly swim from one end to another without having to stop to allow others to pass through. So many kids having swimming classes there :( wat a bad time to swim.. and i got burnt by the sun again despite applying sunblock.

Had subway for lunch. Their cookies are the best. Walked around TM and CS fer awhile then went back home.

So we are into the second week of school now. Had only 3 hours of ITPM cuz theres no trif lecture so went back home at 12. Went jogging and some exercising with yonghan in the evening just now. 2.4 is seriously gg for me.

Looks like im adopting a healthy lifestyle now. Hmm guess i should do this more often

Lastly.. the weather today and also yesterday was intolerable hot, scorching, burning, boiling, blazing, fiery-ing, flaming, torrid. Seems like the sun is pissed off now. Please bring the rain back! If this goes on, the water in swimming pools will be evaporated :(

Today is the first day of school :( which is only 4 hours starting from 9am

Anyway the past weekend was quite fruitful and fun.Went to find daryl and the rest at old airport road after the briefing. Met eric first then we took a bus down. Choon alex and mao were there too so the 9 of us ate dinner together. All of a sudden, it became a "cchb gathering". Having 2 groups of friends in one table chit chatting and eating together.. its time like this that i wouldnt trade for the world. Alex choon and mao went off after dinner and the remaining 6 of us headed to marina square for a movie. Wanted to watch forbidden kingdom but all the good seats were taken so we bought tix for Awake instead and had to wait an hour and a half before the show. Not really worth the 10bucks :( quite a stupid show. Took the train home after that!

Met eric for dinner at 201 on saturday. Some chit chat session over pratas and fries.. sure was fun.

And sunday, the last day of holidays was spent swimming wif the usual people at jurong east and steamboat at bugis after that. Swim and steam! Everything ended at a blink of the eye :( and i find myself on the train back home at 6+.

First day of school. First lesson was Itpm.. IT project management and fuck its the same as SWEN. we just got punk'd. But the teacher seems to be friendly. Smiling all the way. 3 hours of ITPM and an hour of TRIF lecture after that. Tourism informatics. Sounds interesting but Its almost the same as SWEN AGAIN. FILA chart + PBL omg ADD DROP FTW and yes im going to do that tmr wif siao hwee. Heard that the other elective which is HCIF(healthcare informatics) is interesting and sounds easier. So im going to drop TRIF for HCIF and hopefully they allow the change :( Im all alone for TRIF lab session. Gives me another reason why i shld drop that subject

Lecture day tmr.. from 11 to 2.

Oh and im contemplating going to yamaha to learn the guitar but the cost is a problem. But im really interested to get proper coaching at the instrument and hopefully to get some certificate out of it. So probably going down this weekend to check out the price and stuff.

Its saturday! and yeap its the day that im looking forward to because im expecting a fun and joyful outing wif cong and gang and it sure was. Met at lavender mrt at 10 then took the train to chinese garden. Its swimming at jurong east complex. lol our usual place. But sadly, mr weather man is not on our side but we still managed to swim for around 1 hour+.. compared to the usual 2-3 hours :(. And the wave pool is freezing cold. So we spent most of the time in the lazy pool

Had kfc after that... which was a wrong decision because we were planning to have steamboat for lunch/dinner at bugis. But daryl just couldnt resist the temptation of hes favourite. So.. thinking that it was still early before steamboat, we all ate something there and hoping to be hungry again when its time to eat dinner. I bought what looks to me like the smallest and less filling meal but still i struggled to finish it.. steamboat? GG

Took the train back to bugis and walked around the mall. Ate the boat at around 3+. Only 5 of us but still the jokes and laughters never fail to saturate the atmosphere like always.

Ate till around 5+ and we took the bus back.

Most of them gonna start school on monday but for us, its a week later.

Soo a new semester ahead.. Wats there to look forward to. Hopefully we dun have to go to school everyday considering the amount of subjects that we are taking..

Probably going to change class as well.

Sigh time to discipline myself to start waking up early fer the whole of next week.

Headed to Times to check out some magazines and bought this month's issue of total guitar cuz it has kirk hammett in it! and some other interesting articles. 20bucks :O

Yesterday night was hell. I only managed to get proper rest at 12pm today! :(

Went to celebrate my cousin's 1st year birthday at sherington hotel yesterday from 12 to 4. Nice food they have but don't know why i dont have the appetite to eat. So after a few servings of delicious pastries like oreo cheesecake, scone and some others, i more or less spent the rest of the time walking around the hotel and staring into space

Took the train to lavender from newton at 4 after the high tea session ended while my cousin drove my grandparents and brother back home. Went to lih long house for steam boat session! Stayed over at hes place. Watched the man utd match and it was great! Most of them wer asleep at around 4+ so kh and me decided to play some dota. No space for us to slp..... thats why:(

Waited for everyone to wake up which is around 11+ then cabbed back wif cong and kh. Was extremely tired when i got home. Took a quick bath, ate abit then slept till 7pm! yea 7 hours of good solid sleep.

Oh and i watched august rush yesterday on tvlinks. Not too bad. The kid in the show is really a music genius and the movie gave me a new perspective towards music! and i like this kind of shows because it motivates me to continue playing.

And the quality of the movies in tvlinks are really good. Watched a few from there recently and all are in dvd like quality! good stuff

change of plans! decided not to go cut my hair today because theres still around 1 month before school starts so might as well go cut it around 1 or 2 weeks before school.

So decided to go catch a movie. Checked wat movies century square is screening today and decided to watch the untraceable but shit yahoo movie timings is fake! I went down to Century square at 535 and there is no such movie :( sigh and the remaining shows thats either screening at that point of time or about 15mins later are those cartoons like horton bla bla and shutter which started 15mins ago when i finally decided to watch it. Grabbed a medium popcorn set and headed in. Couldnt find my seat lol so just randomly sat at some corner. Empty or rather a handful of people in the cinema is the best. Its like free seating.

The show wasnt really nice. Its more or less the same as the thai version which came out years ago. I kind of expected the similar plot and scary scenes but at least its better than watching cartoons.

And im surprised that i managed to finish the popcorn and the coke despite having late lunch at home.

Movie ended at 7.10. Went to times to check out some magazines but nothing nice. Walked back home after that

I just woke up about 20mins ago and i checked my mail as usual when i logged on to the net. Received some chain mails about animal abuse. They provided a video but i did not click the link fearing that it might be virus. So they needed 500 names in this email before actions can be taken by the PETA i think. Didnt notice anything funny but when i was scrolling down and reading the names and comments(some wrote comments beside their names), i couldnt help but laugh out loud to myself after i read comment number 382(see picture). Went to the gym with kc today. Third time going there but somehow it felt like the very first visit because we were breatheless when running on the treadmill. Talked to LY yesterday for awhile. Its been so long since us TS people hang out. Most of them busy with NS now :( but he say he wil try his best to organise a chalet which im certainly looking forward to it! So damn fun having chalet with them. 5 days 4 night chalet ftw!

so we finally submitted the killer DBMM assignment which took many of our lives. Went to school on both saturdays and sundays to finish up that project. First time spending my whole week in school. Still had lots of bugs though but we couldnt careless. That project has seriously taken its toll on me. I'm sure many agrees with me. DBMM SHLD NOT BE TAUGHT IN BLOCK TEACHING MODE! worst subject ever

Had our mmp2 presentation today. went alright i guess. Flash is also another headache. Linking and integrating our files together was a conundrum for us :@ kept having bugs here and there.

Wats left now is SWEN presentation for pp3 on wednesday and dbmm project interview on thursday. I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel. HOLIDAYS IS COMING!


On a more serious note, i'm still trying to fathom the question of "why are people so competitive with each other?". Why they die die also must win others. I guess this is why people are feeling more and more stress.. because they are asking for it

finally, ive reached the end of the "consecutive 3 days steamboat" fiesta. Friday with poly mates at bugis, saturday with secondary school mates at roxy sq and today, reunion dinner at my cousins place! All of them was enjoyable and fun but still.. theres this apprehensiveness in me. yeap because of school work. Envy my friends in SP whos enjoying their holidays now.. sigh.

Have a strong feeling that im gonna retake some subjects this term. Just gonna try and do my best now.

For once, i don't really look forward to chinese new year because im sure i will have to spend the whole day inside my room doing work.

went to catch AVP2 wif weicong and gang at TM. Was a rather last minute decision to go watch today because a few of us cant make it but the rest didnt mind so we met up in the evening. Bought tix and went to ljs fer dinner. Fuck need to queue fer like 10mins until its my turn because the people infront just have to buy a whole load of shit and their service wasnt that good either :@

Finally i stepped into the theatre after 2months or so. But was rather disappointed at the movie. Not really nice.

Show ended at 915. Went back home after that.

Feels good to leave my work behind and hang out wif friends. I need to get out of my house more often and not stare at my computer fer the wholeday but no, i dont want to leave my house because of school.

Im sure the management planned the time table in a way that they want us to do freaking work everyday. Yea they keep telling us "we plan it in a way that 1 week u wont have more than 2 submission" Yea sounds nice right but wtf.. did they ever consider how long it takes to finish 1 assignment? Obviously not. Obviously they want us to do work every single day. Even though the datelines are 1 week apart, we cant totally focus on the assignment that has an earlier dateline and hope to get that out of the way first because if we do, we won't have time to do the next assignment that is due the week after. Well at least for me because im not competent enough. Which means i have to rush both the assignments together which means one whole day gone whic means no time to do my own stuff. People will then tell me: "start earlier lor". but i cant, i'm not someone who can start doing something when the dateline is not even close. Thats why i hate this COURSE. Fucking management. treat us like bloody geeks. GET people aint cool so dun treat us like them fuckface
