this is offically my fav JAY CHOU song as of now! i'm lovin it. time to GUITAR IT!
Like i mentioned previously, this week is extremely miserable. Yeap you guessed it. GUARD DUTY. Seriously seriously seriously. I think someone out there is trying to test my tolerance level. I was extremely livid on Monday because i had to postpone my plans. Tried finding a replacement but couldnt do so. So just gotta suck it up. Very bitter but i don't have a plan b. So after Monday's duty, i was feeling a little better because i thought i'm pretty much done for the rest of the week. Little did i know that on wed morning, i was told that i'll be having another duty on Friday. Thats when the whole world collapsed on me.
But at least the first half of Friday wasnt that bad. Thankfully, that was enough to help alleviate my sorrow. hahaha.
Met up with Kc Jiayi and Sharon today! It's the first time the 4 of us went out together. So it's pretty interesting. haha. We all went to the Navy open house to see look see look! It would have been alot better and fun if it wasnt for the insane amount of visitors there. We were very eager to enter and explore the different kinds of ships and vessels but bloody hell, the queue turned us off. Wanted to go grab a bite after we saw how terrible the queue was but one look at the "eatery" and we decided to go somewhere else first. Visited some games hall where it's air-conditioned! something we all desperately needed. Nothing much for us to do there. Took a couple of photos here and there. Had a simple yet expensive lunch back at the "eatery" together with a few hundred others. CROWDED! and after that, we all decided to join the queue to enter one of the ship! And thankfully, it only took us about 10mins to enter!
On board,Kc, our tour guide suggest that we try something different. So we entered a door which was actually labelled "not for entry" but He said he knew hes way down so we walked down the flight of steps when suddenly, a lady officer appeared thru some door and was looking very puzzled. She thought we lost our way because visitors arent supposed to be in that place we were in. So she offered to bring us back up to the starting point and restart our tour. NICELY DONE BY KC!
Besides exploring the different decks and facilities, we also get to go on a duck tour on some fast craft, out in the sea. That was the most exciting and enjoyable part of the day.
that's how our we end our open house visit!
And that's it for this entry.
I'm still too lazy to post the pictures of my Thailand trip. :(
good night everyone and take great care!

i received yet another killing blow in the morning.
thats it. I must have done something very wrong to get such treatment!
life isnt fair. If it is,then good people won't die young
maybe a dosage of prozac now would help a little
please flood me with some inspirational/motivational message. i need them!
the light at the end of the tunnel seem to be fading away as the days go by

Weekends with friends
Finally after 3 long mundane weeks, i get to meet up with people whom i can't live without.
Went prawning @ ecp with alex and gang yesterday. It's my first time going there and i won't really want to do it again soon because its pretty expensive! 30bucks for 3 hours. But at least ive gotten some fun out of it, unlike PAINTBALL! Focusing hard on the float thats attached to the rod and see if its moving vigorously. Then when u have the feeling that something is nimbling on ur bait, u pull the rod up, hoping you'll catch something. haha. All of these constitute to the excitement of prawning! But still, it's a little boring, especially during the "quiet" hours where all the prawns seem to be taking their nap.
I think i caught around 6 prawns for the whole 3 hours. Quite sad actually. haha in total, the 6 of us caught 40 prawns altogether. We bbq-ed all of it afterwards at the pits provided! It was quite a disgusting thing to do, skewering the prawns with a satay stick while they are still alive. Worse still, some even had eggs. But for the sake of our stomach.. we just have to do it!

Met up with the usuals today for movie and dinner! Caught "the loser" at plaza sing in the evening. Quite a good show although it's only 97mins long. I think the Sniper guy is very cool and Chris Evans is hilarious in the movie.
Oh and I realised that theres an influx of action movies in cinemas over the past few weeks. Not really a fan of it though. The film that i want to watch right now is "The Runaways"! But i don't know when will it be out!
Had dinner at Mad Jacks afterwards. The oreo cheesecake which ive been eyeing on for quite sometime was disapointing. It was tasteless to say the least! Actually, the main course wasnt that great also. Taste like any other chicken chop u can find outside. But because of the price it costs, i shall not complain much. hahaha
And it's Monday tmr.... :(
Still i don't have the mood to upload the pictures of my Thailand trip.
Let's see when will this drag on till..........
haha good night and take care everyone!

had a really fun time singing at KBOX today. I don't mind doing it more often but 3 hours per session is enough. Any more than that and i think i will start to croak for the next few days!
Met up wif a few of my poly mates for dinner. Even though theres only 4 of us, it was still a pretty good time catching up!
I hate the fact that i'm gonna miss a few meetups wif frends during the next 3 weeks :(
Time to organise another get together after i come back from thailand.
And finally its time for me to get dress up and head to the airport.
Take care everyone and see u guys 3 weeks later!
good bye!!!!!

helloooooooooooo
hows everyone doing? To those who are working right now, let's hope ure happily earning big bucks and at the same time, enjoying watever u are doing. And to those who are studying right now, let's hope ure coping well wif ur school assignments and exams! Remember that whenever u feel tired and listless from all the muggings and rushing of projects, there will always be a group of guys who are a million times worse off than u all because they are experiencing something called 'servitude'.
anyway before i go to bed, i want to pen down something which has been buried within my subconscious all the while, until a friend of mine brought it up just now.
I feel the same way as that friend of mine. I have a fairly reasonable amount of friends which are sufficient to help inject life to my daily cycle. But friends, no matter how close they are, are still friends. They can never cross the line that separates peers and loves. You can never do the things that you did with your partner to your friends. You can never talk the same way to the both of them. And when you are having the blues, that one person might be your cure. Maybe all of us need a particular someone who can fill up that gap because having the luxury of a paramour really makes you feel more complete.
So would u want to engage in a certain romance or just melt yourself into the gender subdivided world of peers.
gooooooooooodnight!

Once the stone ure crawling under
is lifted off your shoulders,
Once the cloud that's raining
over your head disappears,
The noise that you'll hear
Is the crashing down of hollow years
yet another weekend passed by, just like that
guard duty this friday......
such monotonous life cycle kills. it sucks the remaining life out of u.

Spent a few mins asking yourself what do you want to achieve and slowly plot out the route that will help you reach that one specific goal. Stay focus and don't get distracted by things that have great potential to bring you to a halt. You need to constantly remind yourself what is your definite purpose for doing this and it will help overcome the negative thoughts in your mind.
I'm beginning to understand how important is it to set yourself a goal whatever you do. Living without a goal is like being a transexual. You can't decide what side you want to be
seems like me dozing off while listening to some talk just now in the noon is kind of worth it.
and i need to go slp now.
GOOD NIGHT!

Find someone you love and feel that love in every pore of your body. Love that person even more tomorrow. And then the next day, love one additional person; and everyday after that, increase the number of people you love.
Because the longer the list of people you love, the happier they will feel.
Now, i feel like puking my lungs out. im feeling like shit now. LITERALLY!

Caught "Juon - black & White ghost" today at cineleisure. I don't really understand whats going on throughout the whole 2 hours but i guess the main objective of the movie was to scare the audience so the plot wasnt really an important factor. The movie is being separated into 2 parts, each lasting for an hour. The ending of the first part almost tricked us into believing that the whole movie is over because of all the usual credits scene but luckily they didnt switch on the theatre lights. If not, it's time for some REFUND
Anyway, i want to watch "DIARY OF A WIMPY KID"!
i shall and i must and i will!
but when? :(
