Went to Kbox today in the afternoon with Wingyi. Had a great time singing out hearts out. Needless to say, our playlist was filled with mostly jaychou and wang lee hom songs! Headed to town afterwards to catch "Resident Evil: Afterlife". Quite a nice movie but i find it extremely short. But i guess it lived up to most of the audience's expectations.

Went to Tanglin mall after the movie to go look for one of her friend whos working there. Seems like it's my first time visiting that particular part of town. Lots of very interesting shops can be found along the road towards tanglin mall. But they all looked very high class and expensive.

Had our dinner at the food court at the basement of the shopping mall. Nothing fanciful. Frugal meals ftw! hahaha

I'm still trying to familiarize myself with this new toy. Very nifty and beautiful!

Happy 29th BABE!

Such a fun and memorable weekend it was.

It all started as early as 8am in the early morning of Saturday where cong drove us to mount faber to go visit the henderson waves, which is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. It was a rather strange activity for us because we rarely meet up so early to go visit some place. Makes us feel like a tourist. Nothing much to do there except some sight seeing. Walked up and down the forest slopes, which reminds me of route marches. But it's always refreshing and invigorating to have the morning air brushing across our faces. Took a few shots too.

The binoculars behind us was damn fun to play with. hahaha

The rest then went for breakfast while i took the train down to harbour front to meet my poly mates for our sentosa outing!

Bought some food and snacks at Giant and Cold storage before heading over to siloso beach where we had our mini picnic. Kc and i had a good swim. We just had to soak ourselves in the salty water because the sun was burning us. And i kind of regretted swimming afterwards because i forgot to bring my towel :(

Went over to RWS to walk walk. We then decided to pay 5bucks to enter part of the enormous Universal studios to explore! It was really very beautiful and happening. Even though we only get to visit the "hollywood" section of the whole place as our 5bucks can only bring us that far, there's still a lot of things to see. Took a whole lot of photos inside too and we had a huge 20 inch pizza for dinner at the price of "$40.80".

And at 10pm before the place closes, theres a pyrotechnic and fireworks display too. Simply breathtaking. Definitely worth the amount we paid! Will surely pay the full amount next time and have access to the whole area!

It's a special sunday today for my girl and I. Our first month together! But it wasnt a great start because i was LATE! :( sorry babe

We had lunch at Kuishinbo @ suntec. The food was great but not many things to choose from. Maybe the main course is only available for dinner. But it was still good!

Caught "Grown Ups" at marina square later in the evening. It was damn hilarious. Haven't had such a good laugh in a long long time already. Good stuff!

Had a simple dinner @ LJS before we took the bus back home.

Not a very good week for me even though it's only tuesday! Reason being my laptop died on me last sunday and it's beyond repair, according to the guy from the PC Clinic. :(

And im still not sure when i'll purchase a new one so, i'll just make do without any lappy at home for the next few weeks. Definitely feels very very different without it. But good thing is, i can sleep early during weekdays now!

Im leaning towards a macbook pro now. So if i do get one, most probably it'll be that.

strangely, deep inside, i hope that shes doing well. She told me about her sons and they all seem to be pretty successful with what they are doing now. I hope they treat her well.

Last weekend was so damn fun!

Dinner wif poly mates @ sakura. The food there is splendid and we are really spoilt for choice! Felt really good to be able to see those whom i haven met for a long time. Thanks alot for the lovely presents! and not forgetting the beautiful and yummy birthday cake! :)

Went prawning after dinner wif some of them. Caught a total of 22 prawns! haha not bad not bad. Oh and i need to thank KC for being our driver that night!

And finally, the long awaited concert! It's really very good, awesome beyond any words can describe. hahah. The whole experience felt so surreal. Hard to believe that he is just infront of me. Amazinggg! Too bad he didnt play my favourite-st song - Dandelion's Promise (蒲公英的約定). Will defintely go back again if i have the chance to!

It's 3hours into my Birthday already and its time for bed!

Last friday's ice skating was funnnnn! Haven been into the rink for a few years already but i can still perform "disney on ice" that day. NICE. And we managed to stay on our feet throughout the whole 2 hours which was quite an achievement. haha. good good

And it's movie marathon last Saturday. Inception and Blood Pledge. 2 totally different genres of film but it was quite a good combination. No particular reason why. The former was pretty interesting and cool. But somehow the storyline seems a little too intricate for me to understand. hahaha. But thanks to wikipedia, the plot makes sense now.

The 2nd movie, Blood pledge is some korean horror movie about these particular group of suicidal girls in the school. I thought it was pretty good considering the fact that most horror movies dont really make any sense. And its quite scary too. But we didnt hear alot of screams in the cinema. Maybe most of them are covering their faces.. like me :(

Met up with the usuals on sunday for the laser quest competition which wei cong urged us to participate in! It was held at HomeTeamNS, some club house at bukit batok. Ive heard of the laser quest place before but didnt get to try it until that day. Was quite confident in clinching the top prize intially. haha but our team, the GOON PLATOON ended up like the England soccer team during the recent worldcup. Scraped thru the group stage but lost on the first knock out match. hahaha.

It was damn tiring, especially the last match where our opponents all ran and hunted us down like mad. My back ache like hell after every round. But the good thing about being knocked out early was that we get to go home straight after! The waiting time between each match was a good 1 hour or so! And we are losing our patience. So losing isnt a bad result. Nice self delusion.
haha. Seems like the most patient team are the ones that are more likely to win the competition rather than the more skillful one. haha

Anyway it was quite a good experience. Something new to do apart from the usual movie/dinner outings. Only problem is the location. SO FAR!

This coming weekend is gonna be very fun and exciting with my bday celebration on Saturday and the long awaited Jay Chou's concert on Sunday. NICEEEEEEEEE

But first.. i need to get thru another 4 days of agony. O|-<

Why do i feel extremely tired and worn out for the past few days when its around 9 in the evening!
A few mins of rest often end up in a few hours when i lie on my bed. Precious hours of my weekdays gone just like that.

Must be the aftermath of my back to back duties last week! must be. But at least im free for the rest of the month.. maybe not until next week, where shit will start to drop on our head. BUSY LIKE A BEE! but,alas, cant avoid it also. Nvm, shall stand firm on my motto - Act blur , living longer. NICE

Last weekend was great! minus the uneventful saturday. It was shopping shopping and more shopping at town! Really good exercise for the legs. haha. But sadly, nothing caught my eye. So we spent more on food than anything else that day. Why are restaurants and eateries not affected by the GSS!

It's halfway thru the week already! and itsssssss 2 more days to weekends! 1 and a half day more for me actually cuz ill be on half day off on friday. NICE. Shall give me myself a slightly extended weekend before all hell breaks loose next week. But im very excited about next weekend. Bday celebration and Jay chou's CONCERT. NICE COMBO.

Okay i would have make this a longer and more detailed entry if time permits. But its already 2am now and before i get punch and box, i shall sign off here!

Im beginning to realise how thrilling and exciting it can be when playing the "toy catching" machine. Haha. They must have tweaked the bloody machine to make the claw so weak. nice cheat. But i'm relishing the prospect of successfully catching one soon. just you wait

And i realised i actually know how to play something on the piano. NOT BAD RIGHT. Thats definitely one of the instrument i want to pickup in the future. It was damn fun playing the silent piano just now for almost an hour. hahaha

Sigh... and i have to say this every sunday night.. Weekends... over :(
