Yes, i'm back with another picture of the movie "restless". Caught this film on the big screen today. Awesome. I don't know how to describe it. It's definitely not an easy favorite. I don't really dare to recommend this movie to others because it's nice in an unusual way if you get what i mean!

Today was also supposed to be a Xmas shopping day. Sadly, it wasn't fruitful at all. Need to get it done soon!

These 2 movies are gonna be screened soon. Watched 50/50 on monday and i love it. Some parts are very very sad. Coincidentally, both films revolve around the somber topic of "cancer". Life is too short for everyone and as cliche as this may sound, it's true. So i shall try to wake up early everyday and not sleep until it's almost time for dinner.

Might catch them again... in the cinemas this time round.

    Brunch @ Bar Bar Black Sheep with the usuals to celebrate Cong's birthday. Food was at most average only but the company was great. Definitely feels rewarding albeit tired to wake up early in the morning and kick start the day. Come to think of it, it's the first time we actually met for brunch. Gotta do it more often!

Had a simple and relaxing dinner with Kaye and Jiayi just now. Felt like a typical TGIF hangout. Sadly, it's only Monday. Hang in there everyone! Look forward to Friday!

Such a Beautiful movie. You can't help but feel lucky that we are actually living in a really decent country with an above-average kind of lifestyle. You'll understand what i mean when u watch that film. It gave me a different perspective of life. People in other parts of the world are so easily pleased. Little things or actions are enough to make them wear a smile yet we are always full of complains, always so difficult to be satisfied. Maybe we just need to love life a day at a time and stop looking at the grass over at the other side.

All of a sudden, i feel really proud of myself for the most trivial reason.

Can't believe it. Almost a decade already.

And to commemorate this achievement, let's take a look back at the very FIRST entry that brought this diary to life

Who would expect such a casual sentence to be the start of a very very invaluable recollection. The sad thing is, i didn't pen down some of the more eventful and memorable happenings over the years. Instead, all of my earlier entries were made up of big chunk of text, about me rambling and trying to be as detailed as possible about that day's work. I think that's how most of us fill up our diary during our adolescent years right?

I'm surprise that i was able to continue with that way of writing for a good portion of my secondary and poly school days. When you look back at it, you can tell how desperate i was in trying to remember every single piece of information and it has to begin with something like

"woke up in the morning......",

transiting to

" .......after lunch, took a bus back home at 3pm with........"

and finally, with a huge sigh of relief

".......that's how my day went".

yes, sigh of relief because blogging was quite a painstaking thing for me last time. I felt that there was a need to remember the sequence of events for that day so i can record it down in chronological order.

Difficult and mentally challenging! I got too tied down by what was supposed to be a HOBBY. Not a chore. Thankfully, it didn't make me want to shut down this space!

I like what I'm doing now, typing new entries which often contain meaningless sentences once in a while. Not for the sake of sustaining this blog but because i needed too.

So,

Let's not live with this kind of straitjacket feeling

2 months of holidays! I think i studied hard enough to deserve this

i'm gonna try to watch at least 1 movie every night after my exams. I have a whole arsenal of shows waiting to be unfold!

1 more week to my very first school holidays after more than 2 years.

I love such beautiful videos. It gets this whole "thinking cycle" started in my mind.

At the end of the day, you would want to just let your guard down, get into that pensive mood of yours and start wondering about answers to such questions.

Last year when i just bought my macbook, i knew I'm never switching back to PCs

Before i got my iPhone earlier this year, i was more than satisfied with just about any phone that is able to call and text. To me, handphones were just mediums of communication.

Now, even after using it for almost a year, i'm still damn amazed at how and what this toy can do. It's a bizarre experience. I'm never looking at any other phones should this one die on me.

Proud to be a brainwashed apple fan boy!
