Sum 41

Much needed break. Time to replay the classics on my iPod!

And on a slightly sour note, i accidentally scratched my phone. :|

It feels so good to talk things out, to dispose all those heavy and unwanted thoughts that are clinging around. It really pays to be candid and honest with one another as well. Of course, disagreements are gonna happen and efforts are gonna be spent explaining yourself. You're gonna sit back and listen to what the other person has to say and you're not gonna correct them because you can't, opinions are subjective.

This is when you'll get to understand a person better. The whole process is going to be rough, but the euphoria it'll bring at the end makes it all worth it,

at least for my case.

but before everything, it would be nice to make a sincere promise to never judge each other.

And now, full steam ahead!

Gotta put down everything, every lingering thoughts and focus.

Might as well just socially disconnect myself until my exams are over.

Sherlock Holmes was in his house reading a book. All of a sudden a ball came crashing through his window, breaking it. Holmes looked out the window just in time to see three brothers running around the corner. Their names were Paul Crimson, Mark Crimson and John Crimson.
The next day Holmes got a note on his door that read "? Crimson. He broke your window."
Which of the three Crimson brothers should Sherlock Holmes question about the incident?

It's perplexing, how we can go on and on about the type of person we are looking for and yet, fall in love with someone who doesn't possess any of these qualities.

Studying is boring, but i like learning. Learning is fun

Currently in the midst of my 1 week study break and i've concluded many things, one of which is that an hour spent studying at somewhere away from home is a hundred times more fruitful than spending 4 hours studying in my room or living room or my parents room (when they are not home yet). I just can't seem to stay put at one spot whenever i study at home and the 4 hours i mentioned, it's inclusive of, if i'm easily restless, a 2 hours nap if not 1, around 10-15 mins of getting up, walking around and finding something to chew on. At the end of the day, i'll get frustrated for not accomplishing what i planned to. But who else can i blame but myself. That's why, the comfort of my own home is not always a good thing.. at least not when the books and i try to foster a reluctant relationship.

I love to go to the Airport. It is my very own interpretation of a safe haven and as exaggerating as it may seem, it's true. It's one of those few places where calmness saturates the air and the voices of the crowd congregate as music to your ears. I love going there to study, to read and write, to have a meal but not so much of sending people off (sour grapes). I like to think that i'm actually gonna walk through the departure gates whenever i'm there. Yes, it's very ironic that i'm always looking forward to go to my favorite place just to leave there for another country. Looking forward to the month of June!

Sticking to the topic of self-expression, i'm very fortunate to know this special person whom i always enjoy talking to for the most strangest (but not the only) reason - language. It's that kind of person you can strike a chord(not musically) with in terms of the way they speak. I've always embrace the fact that linguistics is one of the most attractive trait in someone and that's when i reveal the judgmental side of me... BUT....let's not go to that. It's a deal-breaker for me if someone is physically attractive but verbally repulsive. On the other hand, i'll be impressed with someone who is willing to use most of their make-up to doll up their speech until they are left with a little for their face. Of course, us humans are naturally greedy. We want both!

And no, our friendship is not being built upon by only the language we speak! It's just one of those bonus elements that makes the whole relationship even more special and hard to find. Pure, quirky and full of casual disagreements. That's the meat of it.

Just for the record - i'm in no way suggesting that my language is or is near perfect.

Sometimes I wish I have a therapist to visit on a routine basis

Everyone needs a little prozac in their life. Don't be afraid to make it known to others.

Christmas Remembrance

Such a joyful 2011 Christmas week it was. Although it was tiring and mentally challenging to see the same faces for so many times in a week,  i'm sure we all managed to get a hell lot of fun out of it. I'm very thankful for having something memorable to carve to this holiday of mine before it ends.

The much anticipated Camping/BBQ event with the Dragon Babies was a success! Even though the build-up was met with some last minute scares and hiccups, everything went according to plan on the actual day. Even the weather, which was terribly uninviting throughout the whole month stood in our favor. The amount of food we ordered was just nice to fill 6 of us up. The Angel and Mortal part was so sweet and hilarious. It's really nice to see everyone giving out of joy and sincerity. Such a blessing. Let me reiterate - I love my gift!

What a way to end the year with a "sleepover/heart-to-heart talk" outing with this affectionate clique. Can't love you guys enough!

yes!
You know how you keep telling others about this, about that, about yourself with that confident and matter-of-factly tone

It's a lie. At least half of it is. The confidence you stole and that layer of unwavering look you drew haven't really give itself away yet

You'll learn to speak from your heart, not your throat. Won't u?
