Grievances aside, today was a happy day for me, mainly because i caught 2 of the best movies in recent months.
1) Paper Heart

This film became an instant favourite after watching it. It's about a documentary on love, where the lead actress travels to many different places and interviewing many different kinds of people about what they think love means because its a topic she couldnt comprehend. It then veered into the direction of a typical yet enticing love story in the later parts of the show. The movie was directed in a unique way, something like "REC" which i find it interesting. Definitely a must watch! The only flaw to me is the duration of the whole film. It's only 1 and a half hours long :(
And on a trivial note, they could have chosen a more decent looking lead actress but Charlene Yi played her role well nonetheless. haha
2) (500) Days of summer

Yes! the movie that ive been anticipating for weeks! This is actually the 2nd time that im watching this film and i have no complaints about doing so. For all i know, the high ratings for this movie definitely reflects the quality of it. Go watch it!
For me, both movies were equally good but if i have to choose the better one, it has gotta be 'paper heart' because it's really that nice! Im gonna say those 3 words again. GO WATCH IT! totally worth the 20 bucks!
And speaking about money, the amount i spent today was pretty scary :( Things i spent on include
1) Sonic gear ear phone worth $25.90
2) Muse and The Smiths album worth $36.90
3) Breakfast @ Swensens, Lunch @ Cathay, Dinner @ Subway
I really need to regulate the amount i'm spending every week. yes?
take care everyone and have a great week ahead. I know i won't enjoy mine. Suck it up
Nights!
