i've been feeling very lazy to logon to blogger and post a proper entry recently. Hopefully this is just temporary. haha

Time to resume blogging with a long entry after days of hiatus.

Past few days have been pretty fun. I've been going out almost everyday recently and i really can't recall the day where i didnt step out of my house at all. But like i said, time is running out for me. Therefore, the remaining weeks must be well spend!

I seem to be gallivanting around, in search of nice and yummy food for the past few days. Its definitely fun for me, not for my pocket.

Breakfast @ Swensens

Swensens breakfast! Their breakfast set taste good and it isnt too pricey also. The price range is from $7+ to $13+ if i didnt remember wrongly.

A funny but good thing about their offer is that each set comes with 2 cups of drinks. U can choose from gloria jeans coffee, tea, apple or orange juice. but why 2? haha

Father's day

Bakerzin's New york cheesecake! Since it was father's day last sunday, i decided to buy a cake for my dad and its similar to the one in the picture, just that mine was some writings on it. Their cakes are really delicious and delightful. Totally worth the money. The 50% discount kind of erases any hesitation to get it. Quick, the promotion ends this month!

With regards to a few paragraphs above, not all good food burns a hole in ur pocket. An example would be the place Wingyi and i went to yesterday. Its the Tampines street 11 round market! Some research done online led us to that place. We tried the $2.50 wanton mee at some stall which seems to be popular because of the long queue. And no its not because the person cook slow! It tasted good and yummy and is definitely better than others.

Looks normal but its delicious!

Oh and something funny happened at the start of the yesterday. I went to a ATM machine to check my balance but strangely, the screen showed something else after i pressed the "balance enquiry" button. A receipt then came out stating that my card has been retained and its staying inside the machine! Lol nice way to start the day. Called DBS immediately and luckily, i can go down to any branch and get back my card right away.

So after the delectable early lunch, we went down to the POSB branch at tampines central to collect my card. Took a train down to Outram MRT, in search of "Seventh Heaven" after that. Its some icecream and dessert retail shop, located at a place we've never heard of before.

Check out their website! http://www.seventhheaven.com.sg/findingbliss.html

The intended plan was to alight at Outram MRT and take a shuttle bus down to raeburn park, where the shop is located but we didnt check the schedule for the bus timings beforehand and realised we had to wait for 2 hours for the next bus!

So we called the place and asked if its possible to walk there. The person gave us some pretty vague directions and as a result, we kept walking round and round. But its fun because we get to see lots of beautiful things in the vicinity. Those"little nonya" type of houses are prevalent in that area and they are really really attractive.

We went past this old railway station and found it pretty cool. Seldom get to see such places here.

Omg aston martin ftw. This person must be some rich ass. 2 terracotta warrior statues outside and one luxurious sports car. Dammit! bet their furnitures are made of gold.

After walking for around 30mins, we finally reached "seventh heaven". I think this is the most secluded places ive ever been to for food! So managing to find that place was definitely an achievement.

Icecream indulgence!

Double scoop for me! French vanilla and Blackforest (hidden below the vanilla). The latter has a pretty strong vodka taste. But its still nice nonetheless. The price for mine was $9.80 :(

Wingyi think she rich, so she ordered 3 scoops! French vanilla, Bandung and Peanut Butter. The peanut butter one tasted the best when i tried all 3. Cost about $13.80 for hers. Tank it!

I feel that this place is a little overrated. The icecream tasted good, but nothing special to be honest and its so expensive. Being the only outlet in Singapore and hearing some good reviews on it, we expected something unique but its quite a disappointment haha.

So thats the little food tour that happened over the past few days! and im looking for more places to go to! recommendations?

Lastly, you might find these pictures familiar because its those on Wingyi's blog! lol. I asked her to send me the pictures she took so i can put them in this entry. Nice steal. Thanks!

I know its pretty damn boring to read a long entry without any pictures. So i will try and take MY OWN pictures next time for blogging's sake.

bye everyone and good nightt!

i like this song!

I remembered when i was around the age of 14 or 15, i asked Ly to burn this song for me into a cd cause i want to listen to it using my discman. Yes only 1 song in the cd. Damn waste of space.

This tune still lingers within me after so many years. Heard it outside some ktv lounge today and immediately got me singing to it. This shall be my song for the next few hours!

nights everyone and take care!

Is it possible for 1 life to be worth more than another or more?

Would you kill a baby to save the entire room of people because the crying baby would give their location away?

Would you switch the track for the train to kill the one guy and save the many others on a different track?

Would you save a loved one of urs and let the 20 others die or save the group and see ur loved one go

i'm not sure what to do when such situation arises

what about u?
why do gangsters exist?

Because they make us look good

It's that time of the year again, where u had to see ur loved ones leave for somewhere else. This time round, it's to serve the nation. My turn will come soon, in another month's time and it definitely doesn't beckon.

Sent weizhe, lih long and wei cong off yesterday. I wonder how are they doing now. Now that the 2 of them are in army, i doubt we will have anymore outings because they are the ones that always organize a get-together. Maybe its time for me to step up and take the lead.

This week has been pretty enjoyable with 3 consecutive fun-filled outings taking place Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

We had a baking session at Jiayi's place on monday! A few hiccups occured at the start of the day. I overslept and i wore the wrong colour tshirt. Our team was supposed to wear white but i completely forgotten about our "uniform" so yh and me came in stripe polo tee instead. Haha totally out of place. Can tell that she's damn angry because her face was as black as charcoal when we arrived hahaha but still, its all good. We changed into the white tshirts she lent us and our team started rocking. Had lots of fun baking pastries and taking photos. Dinner was delicious too! credits to Kaye. Lazy to upload photos here so head over to facebook if u wanna see them. Thanks people for the early birthday celebration! and not forgetting the card Jiayi made for Clarence and myself. It's really nice of u and i really like it!

Tuesday was spent celebrating Clarence's birthday at Hard rock cafe with my classmates. It's my second visit to that place and this time round, we ate something. As expected, the food there is pretty costly. An average amount of 25bucks will be needed to get u a proper meal. I ordered some twisted chicken and cheesy macaroni which costs about 22bucks. At least it tasted good and most importantly, able to fill me up. The live band that day was awesome as usual . It's an acoustic band called "Boys with toys" and their performance totally enlivened the crowd. People like Peiqi and Kimchoon got pretty high when they played the song "love story" hahah and they played a birthday song for Clarence too! I'm always green with envy when i see such bands performing because it's one of my dream to be like them. Maybe someday..........

And Wednesday, the last of the 3 events was spent with my secondary school mates! It's a last get-together for us before the first few get enlisted into army. It's also an opportunity for me to thank them for coming down to support me for the tshirt design event. So i treated them to some Karaoke session at Katong S.C. We sang for 5 hours straight and its crazily fun. Loads of screaming and shouting and of course, funny songs being played! Rick roll ftw! hahaha. I really pity the people next door because they had to tolerate our revelries. Luckily, they didn't complain and thankfully, we didnt get chase out. Tank it! Dinner was at Yuki Yaki at Marina square. It's a Steamboat, teppenyaki and ice-cream buffet. First time dining there and its quite a nice place with good food. The unique thing about that place would be the D.I.Y Ice cream.. but the taste isn't anything splendid. In fact, its just like the 1dollar icecream that u can buy from the motorcycle uncle, just that u are making it urself. But still, the 3 hours spent there was definitely fruitful. If only the siting arrangement can be better, because we had to be separated into 2 tables as one can only accomodate up to 5 people. Feedback!

And.... thats how the 3 enjoyable days were spent

Yet another pictureless entry right? haha

Just make do with this wall of text for now ok. I'll see if i can pick up the habit of posting pictures in the future.

Lastly, watch this video if u haven't do so. Its bloody hilarious!

Time for bed. Nights everyone and take good care!

Music, something therapeutical to me

i love my friends and family to bits

i want to thank my secondary school mates and poly mates for coming down to support me. I really appreciate the spamming of the sms votes! I know its hurting to see ur phone bills being shot up just like that. But i will repay u all soon! Special thanks to pq and weicong for casting more than 100 votes! love u guys!

And I want to dedicate this paragraph to a girl named Luk Wingyi. Thanks for being so interested and willing to represent my design when i first approached u.. and because of this, u had to wake up as early as 7am to attend the briefing and rehearsal. Sorry about that. I'm also very grateful for ur enthusiasm when u sent out smses this morning, asking people to come down and support. Even though there were some grammatical mistakes and missing information like the TIME, i can see ur earnestness behind it.. or maybe ure just eyeing on the money that i will share with u when i win? hahahahaha just kidddding. All in all, i'm glad that all the hassle uve gone through was worth it.. because I got FIRST! hahaha and dun wry, i won't shortchange u! Thanks once again Wingyi! ure a wonderful friend..and so are the others who came down!

so.. wanna have a puff now?

haha nights everyone!
