i've been feeling very lazy to logon to blogger and post a proper entry recently. Hopefully this is just temporary. haha

Time to resume blogging with a long entry after days of hiatus.

Past few days have been pretty fun. I've been going out almost everyday recently and i really can't recall the day where i didnt step out of my house at all. But like i said, time is running out for me. Therefore, the remaining weeks must be well spend!

I seem to be gallivanting around, in search of nice and yummy food for the past few days. Its definitely fun for me, not for my pocket.

Breakfast @ Swensens

Swensens breakfast! Their breakfast set taste good and it isnt too pricey also. The price range is from $7+ to $13+ if i didnt remember wrongly.

A funny but good thing about their offer is that each set comes with 2 cups of drinks. U can choose from gloria jeans coffee, tea, apple or orange juice. but why 2? haha

Father's day

Bakerzin's New york cheesecake! Since it was father's day last sunday, i decided to buy a cake for my dad and its similar to the one in the picture, just that mine was some writings on it. Their cakes are really delicious and delightful. Totally worth the money. The 50% discount kind of erases any hesitation to get it. Quick, the promotion ends this month!

With regards to a few paragraphs above, not all good food burns a hole in ur pocket. An example would be the place Wingyi and i went to yesterday. Its the Tampines street 11 round market! Some research done online led us to that place. We tried the $2.50 wanton mee at some stall which seems to be popular because of the long queue. And no its not because the person cook slow! It tasted good and yummy and is definitely better than others.

Looks normal but its delicious!

Oh and something funny happened at the start of the yesterday. I went to a ATM machine to check my balance but strangely, the screen showed something else after i pressed the "balance enquiry" button. A receipt then came out stating that my card has been retained and its staying inside the machine! Lol nice way to start the day. Called DBS immediately and luckily, i can go down to any branch and get back my card right away.

So after the delectable early lunch, we went down to the POSB branch at tampines central to collect my card. Took a train down to Outram MRT, in search of "Seventh Heaven" after that. Its some icecream and dessert retail shop, located at a place we've never heard of before.

Check out their website! http://www.seventhheaven.com.sg/findingbliss.html

The intended plan was to alight at Outram MRT and take a shuttle bus down to raeburn park, where the shop is located but we didnt check the schedule for the bus timings beforehand and realised we had to wait for 2 hours for the next bus!

So we called the place and asked if its possible to walk there. The person gave us some pretty vague directions and as a result, we kept walking round and round. But its fun because we get to see lots of beautiful things in the vicinity. Those"little nonya" type of houses are prevalent in that area and they are really really attractive.

We went past this old railway station and found it pretty cool. Seldom get to see such places here.

Omg aston martin ftw. This person must be some rich ass. 2 terracotta warrior statues outside and one luxurious sports car. Dammit! bet their furnitures are made of gold.

After walking for around 30mins, we finally reached "seventh heaven". I think this is the most secluded places ive ever been to for food! So managing to find that place was definitely an achievement.

Icecream indulgence!

Double scoop for me! French vanilla and Blackforest (hidden below the vanilla). The latter has a pretty strong vodka taste. But its still nice nonetheless. The price for mine was $9.80 :(

Wingyi think she rich, so she ordered 3 scoops! French vanilla, Bandung and Peanut Butter. The peanut butter one tasted the best when i tried all 3. Cost about $13.80 for hers. Tank it!

I feel that this place is a little overrated. The icecream tasted good, but nothing special to be honest and its so expensive. Being the only outlet in Singapore and hearing some good reviews on it, we expected something unique but its quite a disappointment haha.

So thats the little food tour that happened over the past few days! and im looking for more places to go to! recommendations?

Lastly, you might find these pictures familiar because its those on Wingyi's blog! lol. I asked her to send me the pictures she took so i can put them in this entry. Nice steal. Thanks!

I know its pretty damn boring to read a long entry without any pictures. So i will try and take MY OWN pictures next time for blogging's sake.

bye everyone and good nightt!
