I love to cycle around the big open field opposite the library on windy sunday evenings where many bliss out in the open to fly kites, run around or even lying down just to enjoy the cool breeze. Never failed to put a smile on my face everytime i go pass there because everyone seem to be so carefree and happy. Such sight brings peace and tranquility. Really amazing. I shall snap a shot of it on my next trip there.

Gonna go bath now and consume my cheesecake. This time round, it's the baked cheesecake from secret recipe!

And i just notice that this is my 995 post in this blog. 5 more to a milenary of entries!

i received 2 extremely tramautizing news this week.

1) Guard Duty
2) On the 1st day of chinese new year

This is gonna be one goddamn memorable cny for me

Still trying my best to be resilient, to stay positive

Went home for nights out at 630 just now in the evening

and im going back in an hours time

This week was boring as hell.

Sigh

But i'm glad i have one bunk mate whom i can jam with. that's the only thing i enjoyed in camp so far

happy 3rd day of the new year everyone! I shall attempt to make this a long entry about wat happened on new year's eve and on the 1st day of new year!

NYE Celebration
That day was also choon's 21st birthday. He invited me to the celebration which was at Alex's Cousin, Baoyi's place. I was shocked when i reach that place because when i looked inside the house, i can't recognize any familiar faces. That's when i called him to come out and go in together with me but he smoked me by saying that actually, he also haven reach. NICE.

Baoyi came out and asked me to go inside first and since the theme of the party was "geek or freak", almost everyone that entered the house need to have their faces drawn with lipsticks, blushes etc etc.






and thats wat they did to me! hahaha

After stepping into the place, i realised that they are not holding only choon's birthday celebration but also one of alex's cousin's birthday too and of course the new years eve countdown party! So those who were there include alex's family and relatives, hes cousins friends etc. Felt pretty damn intimidated for awhile and i didnt know wat to do or who to talk to. So i just walked around the place and once in a while, grabbed some bites. Thankfully, alex and maxie came after awhile and the birthday boy, shortly after.

Food was great and booze were aplenty. I almost felt like puking at one point of time.. probably because i ate too much.

All of us then went downstairs to the open area at around 1145 to play with fire crackers and party popers!





They tried making the rocket thing but failed. It was fun still, popping the party popers beside someone's face, throwing the fire cracker at others. hahaha. Sorry, no area cleaning was being done after that. :(

We went back up to the house and played some alcohol related games after that. Most of them started to leave at around 2+am so our grp went over to matt's place to sleep.

And that's how i ended my year 2009! Having a crazily fun party with cool mates! hahaha

Chalet on 1st of January 2010
We had our long awaited chalet on the very 1st day of 2010! This get-together was also organized to celebrate our 9 years of friendship since sec1! Due to the popular peak period of the season, the insane demand of chalets all over the country has left us with only 1 option, which was to have it at coasta sands resort, even though we tried booking it 3 months in advance.

We spent the first day playing board games(cluedo ftw!), xbox and card games. Dinner consists of an extensive spread of food because it's potluck day! And quite expectedly, there were lots of left overs too.

Many of our other classmates came on the 2nd day for the bbq. It's great to see them once again.
I took quite a few shots with my new toy! Yeap i bought a polaroid camera on thursday. I think it's the same as john's. Time to work on my polaroid wall. haha

And again, the amount of food we had was insane. Lots and lots of left overs. Good thing was that it's yummy.

Lex Mao and me took a stroll down pasir ris park after filling up ourselves. We carried out our "got lighter?" mission but the outcome wasnt good:( hahaha but it was fun nonetheless.

Checked out at 10 in the morning and here i am, siting at home, feeling very very very depress.. again.

That's about it. I think i did a pretty good job in fulfiling my aim to write a long entry. haha

11 more post to reach the 1000 mark. This blog has been by my side since secondary three. Back then, i wasnt serious about blogging, hence the flippant blog name. i feel like deleting this blog on many occasions mainly because i was too damn lazy to even write a sentence. Little did i know that this little webpage became a very important read for me because i can see clearly how much ive changed over the years and it's the only place for me where i can read about my past. And i would also laugh at the way i typed things in the past. Embarrassing but it's things like these that makes blogging an enjoyable thing to do.

Had a class gathering at the function room at john's gf's condo. Even though the number of people present wasnt alot, we all still had fun. right? haha The amount of food we brought was insane. Lots of leftovers.. especially the muffins :(

Either way, thanks to those who came today. It's a pity that the others couldnt join us because we might not be meeting up anymore after today.. for the next few months at least. Unless someone organise something. hahaha

So this long weekend has pretty much ended. Back to camp tmr...sigh

ive read a book recently entitled "rules of the game". It was quite an interesting read, even though i merely flipped thru a few pages. It's about the author sharing his experiences as a "pick-up artist"

And there was one particular sentence that struck me.

i couldnt remember the exact phrase but it's something like

"if you love that person but she doesnt likes u, then it's no longer love, it's obsession and that will scare her away"

how true is that

just came back from pq's chalet this afternoon. Had a really great time laughing and chatting wif my poly mates. Everything was fun!

Yesterday was also my very first visit to wild wild wet. Compared to the fun pool at Jurong east, i think WWWet is slightly better as they have more fun rides, especially that half pipe thing which is seriously fun and scary. haha. But majority of the rides are pretty much the same as the one at Jurong. We spent around 3 hours there and most of us got burnt pretty badly :(

Then came her birthday celebration! The birthday cake was extremely huge. I think she felt pretty damn intimidated during the cutting of cake because of the amount of people present. Haha but it was all good. Im quite jealous about the amount of presents she received. :(

We also had a "class gathering" outside her chalet, where we all sat in a circle to discuss about the C140 Xmas celebration. That particular moment was very nostalgic as it reminds me of the good old poly days.

I know ive been very naive lately, constantly saying that i want to go back to my schooling days. I really mean it. But Life just have to move on.. right?

Okay i have to end here. Time is running out. I still got to finish up my cheesecake and i need to leave for camp in like 20mins time!
